Tania Zaetta wants to become Bollywood Ambassador for Victoria

Melbourne: Australian Model and TV Personality Tania Zaetta, who has also done roles in hit Bollywood films like Salaam Namaste and Bunty Aur Bubli, is very keen on becoming the "Bollywood Ambassador for Victoria" - A role which Ted Baillieu led Liberal party would create if it wins power in next State Elections which are due in Nov 2010.
Tania expressed her keen desire to become Victoria's Bollywood Ambassador when she met with Indian Community leader and Liberal party member Mr. Nitin Gupta at a Fashion Show in Albert Park recently.
Ted Baillieu's Liberal party had released a designated "Bollywood Policy" in 2006 State Elections, with a view to promote Victoria as a prefferred destination for Indian/South Asian film production houses to shoot movies here, and also boost tourism and student numbers.
Liberal's Bollywood Policy was the brainchild of Mr. Nitin Gupta, and it was released in Oct 2006 at the Surtarang Auditions in Balwyn, which were organised by Mr. Nawal Moudgil (SKGA).
In 2010 State Elections again, the Liberals are expected to release a more detailed and comprehensive Bollywood Policy with a dedicated budget, and appointment of a famous Bollywood personality as "Ambassador for Victoria".
Other Bollywood stars that have already expressed interest in this role are Preity Zinta, Celina Jaitley, Genelia D'Souza, and Telegu Superstar Ram Charan Teja. All these stars have also met with Mr. Nitin Gupta at some stage, and expressed their interest for this prestigious role.
All these bollywood stars have done shootings in Victoria at some stage. According to Nitin Gupta the 'costs and budget factor' may also play a significant role in deciding which bollywood personality ends up with the prestigious role.
