Visit Puffing Billy during school holidays

MELBOURNE, 9 JULY. "We would love to invite you along to Puffing Billy Railway with a 10% discount on tickets to take advantage of our school holidays specials," PB Railway.

The best way to enjoy a winter's day out is to get all rugged up and ride on some of Australia’s oldest steam locomotives through our wonderful forests and fern gullies!

Enjoy sights of the iconic Monbulk Creek trestle bridge, views of Port Phillip Bay, Arthurs Seat and Cardinia Reservoir and some of the charming station stops you pass by like Menzies Creek, Emerald and Nobelius Siding, before making your way to the family-favourite Lakeside Station. Plus, you can warm up with a delicious range of hearty food and beverage options from the Lakeside Tearooms, including winter warmer favourites like hot soup, giant salted OR chocolate drizzled pretzels, churro bites with chocolate dipping sauce and mulled wine (for the parents!).

If you're looking for a great day out with family and friends or a new location for the next morning tea, then the Menzies Creek Museum is just the spot for you. Enjoy a shortbut-sweet 30-minute journey from Belgrave, passing over the historic Monbulk Creek trestle bridge and through the temperate rainforests of the Dandenong Ranges, before arriving at Menzies Creek Station to visit the museum and enjoy our morning tea special.

Offering a unique outdoor experience full of adventure, enjoy the privacy and comfort of your own exclusive carriage with family or friends.

We have a range of delicious picnic and lunch packs available for adults, children, couples and families. These are available for pre-order with your train tickets, and can be collected at Belgrave and Lakeside station.
